Gen Right Black Steel Shorty Corner Guards For 1987-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ
This is the Gen-Right "shorty" or "trail" type Corner Guard set for the Jeep YJ.
These are made of sturdy 1/8" thick steel and will help protect your Jeeps tub from damage (or cover damage already done). Each set has holes to fit the factory OE tail lights, license plate and stock gas filler bezel. They mount next to rear flare, not under the flare.
Installation is easy; simply remove the gas bezel, license plate and tail lights. Then hold the new corner guards up next to the stock flares and mark each of the holes to be drilled. The Shorty corners are per-drilled for 1/8" diameter rivets (color matched black rivets are included). so you can use the new corner as a template.
TIP: While you have the tail lights off, upgrade to a set of our LED tail lights (they bolt right on)!
Option: the holes can be drilled out and countersunk to use our optional Stainless Steel flat head allen bolt hardware kit. The Stainless hardware kit includes a drill, 82 degree counter sink tool, 5/16" Flat Head bolts, washers and nuts.
