The Convertible Side Bar is designed for dual use as both an entry step and rocker panel protection. Use as a side step for
street use or release step lock to fold up to the rocker guard position for side protection and added off road clearance. High Pressure gas shocks pull & hold the bar in the standard rocker guard position - Step pressure on the bar returns and locks the bar into the step bar position. Textured black powder coated finish is durable and blends with factory components.
